an album i wrote inspired by denpasei's comic "Ultramarine Weather" and a particularly rainy day at the beach. you can read the comic for free here, but the rainy day, like many things, was ephemeral and can no longer be experienced.

in response to those who have asked when “the muse and the devil” will be on spotify: i’ve planned to upload it for some time, but i would have to create new album art for it. so far i just haven’t done that. and so it languishes…
i regret to say i probably will not be making music for some time. chronic joint issues i have had for years now make it tremendously difficult for me to properly record and produce music. i just can’t enjoy the process of production anymore. i tried my best to keep going, but think it showed in the rough quality of “the summer i met the storm.”
i still sing, and i still write, but i can no longer translate my songs into a form i can easily share with you.
very sorry! i hope this will someday change, but for now it seems unlikely my condition will improve and i need all my hand hitpoints for my job. if i do produce music in the future, it will be under the name “KNGFSHER” (that’s to say, kingfisher).
